Step Up for Students partnership with Accessible Tech and Talkido

Accessible Tech is proud to be an approved Step Up For Students (SUFS) vendor, offering families in Florida access to innovative speech and language tools like Talkido.

Through this partnership, families who qualify for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) can use their Education Savings Account (ESA) funds to purchase Talkido products directly. While Talkido provides the research-backed tools, ongoing usage guidance, and technical support, Accessible Tech ensures a smooth ordering experience, from helping families navigate the purchase process through MyScholarShop to managing tracking and delivery.

Who's eligible?

You may qualify for the FES-UA scholarship if

  1. You’re a Florida resident
  2. You loved one is aged 3-22
  3. Your loved one has a qualifying diagnosis (e.g. speech impairment, autism, or other unique abilities)

How to access Talkido through SUFS

If you already have an account with SUFS, you can search: Talkido in the MyScholarShop.

If you do not have an account, you can do the following

If you've not yet applied through MyScholarShop, you'll need to head over to the SUFS website and complete the FES-AU scholarship application.

Get approved

If eligible, funds will be deposited into your Education Account via the individuals EMA portal.

Choose Talkido

Choose Talkido by searching through MyScholarShip.

How are Talkido and Accessible Tech connected?

Talkido began as an Academic Research Project, inspired by the cousin of Talkido's co-founder, Can Yıldız. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, his cousin struggled with language and communication. This challenge motivated Can to transform his cousin's home into a learning environment, marking the first steps of the Talkido journey.
